Several home textiles companies have announced their presence at Guimarães Home Fashion Week, which takes place from 14 to 17 May at the Pousada de Santa Marinha in Guimarães. Among them is Vital Home, which sees the event as ‘an excellent opportunity to present products and new developments, as well as allowing us to establish closer connections with potential clients and markets´.
Bed linen collections will be on display, with an emphasis on linens, jacquard fabrics, bedspreads, and blankets. ‘As far as bath collections are concerned, we’ll have a sample of our 100 per cent cotton terry, jacquard and bathrobes. We’ll also have our collection of baby items on display,’ Paula Mendes, from the communications and marketing department at Vital Marques Rodrigues.
Rosacel is also inviting customers to set the date in their calendars to get a closer look at their 2024 collection, which features ‘luxurious fibres that appeal to the senses, soft tones, and environmentally friendly materials’. The star of this collection is Lyocel Tencel, which ‘gives a velvety touch to the brand’s garments’. There is also a strong focus on recycled yarns at Rosacel, namely Recover, as well as biodegradable materials.
The focus on sustainability extends to other companies exhibiting, such as A.Ferreira & Filhos, which is presenting its own certified Homania brand. Domingos de Sousa and Alda Têxteis’ certifications can also be seen in the Home From Portugal Association catalogue, which gives a preview of what the companies will be showing.
Adalberto, Belfama, Bovi, Colmaco, Coton Couleur, Elav, João & Feliciano, Lasa Home, Leiper, Pereira da Cunha, Sampedro, Sorema, Sotegui, Têxteis Penedo e Torres Novas, are other companies that are exhibiting.
