GIVACHOICE WANTS TO GROW 15% AND REACH ABOVE EIGHT MILLION IN TURNOVER

In the year that marks ten years of the company’s activity, Givachoice aims to conquer the US market and grow 15%, surpassing the eight million euros in turnover reached in 2019. This will also be the year for expanding the company’s facilities, with the addition of 1,800m2 spread over three floors, with a new pavilion dedicated to storage and shipping operations.

In the past ten years, Givachoice has consolidated a customer base that includes some of the most renowned luxury women’s fashion brands in Europe, as well as in Australia and Canada. Now, the plan is to expand its exports, targeting the United States.

“Covid-19 has slowed the growth that we had forecasted for the last two years. However, we always looked at this challenge as an opportunity to expand to new markets, which are now looking for safer solutions. At the same time, the goal is to consolidate our commercial relationships with older customers”, explains CFO Ricardo Almeida.

An expansion that for the general director Ana Almeida involves a “more active presence in international fairs as part of our strategic internationalization plan for the coming years”, but that is also based on the valorization and qualification of the company’s human resources.

Since day one oriented towards the manufacture of women’s clothing for the high and luxury segments, Givachoice experienced over the last ten years a continuous growth, which peaked in 2019, the year the company reached a turnover of eight million euros.
