Dune Bleue is attending Performance Days in Munich today and tomorrow with a product developed as part of a project by Colorifix, Woolmark and Facol: a non-compression therapeutic sock designed for diabetic or highly sensitive feet.
CEO Ricardo Faria explains that “this project aims to enable wool dyeing without the use of petrochemicals,” adding that it is “a very interesting product, considering that 80% of the raw material did not rely on chemicals in its dyeing process.”
He also highlights that seamless knitting enhances comfort and reduces the risk of friction against the skin, helping to prevent the formation of blisters or ulcers. Finally, he notes that the composition used supports thermal regulation and helps keep the skin dry.
