The opening of Première Vision Paris saw high activity in the knitwear sector. As part of the Sustainable Textile & Apparel From Portugal project, promoted by ATP, Portuguese exhibitors reported a busy morning filled with meetings and client interactions.
6Dias Têxteis highlighted consistent demand for natural fibers – linen, TENCEL™, viscose, cotton, and silk – as well as eco-denim, a more sustainable option. “Some clients prefer prints, others solids. We have a bit of everything,” said Patrícia Dias from the company’s commercial department. The stand’s strategic location near the entrance also contributed to higher visibility.
Sidónios Malhas also experienced a strong start. Alexandre Silva, from management, emphasized the market’s interest in new products, particularly in sportswear and activewear segments, featuring lightweight, soft-touch knitwear.
Ricardo Silva, president of ATP, visited the Portuguese exhibitors this morning and praised the positive energy of the fair. “The knitwear section is busier, and the fair feels more compact. Première Vision has done a great job showcasing Portuguese savoir-faire,” he stated, highlighting the alignment among participating companies.
