Familitex brings “second-skin” expertise to Première Vision Paris

Familitex highlights its motto of “know-how that you can feel” for this edition of Première Vision Paris, opening tomorrow. The knitwear company showcases fine, lightweight structures with crepe-like touches, aiming to position its fabrics as a second skin.

“Today, Familitex’s greatest value lies in the trust built with its partners, rapid response times, and a highly diversified machinery park that ensures productive flexibility,” the company told T Jornal.

This edition, which positions Portugal as a hub of savoir-faire, sees Familitex joined by two other group companies: Barceltinge, based in Barcelos and specializing in dyeing and finishing with a daily processing capacity of nine tons of fabric; and Serkut, producing everything from jersey to interlock, piquet, ribs, and jacquards, offering over 100 circular knit products for immediate delivery.

The trio continuously explores new structures, technical effects, and functional levels that distinguish each development. Through this, the Familitex group contributes efficiency, rigor, and quality to the international image of the Portuguese textile and apparel sector.

“Each knit reflects profound knowledge accumulated over years of industrial experience, mastery of production processes, and a consistent commitment to sustainability. The closeness between design and production, combined with skilled labor, allows ideas to be transformed into products efficiently, rigorously, and with high quality—a combination that is hard to replicate,” the company concludes.
