ELASTRON GROUP EXPANDS GLOBAL OFFERING

With a turnover of over 55 million euros, the Elastron group is investing in strengthening the segment of upholstery coverings intended for decoration and interior design. With its own brand, Magenta, international markets assume a dominant position.

Having turned 50, José Carlos Oliveira – CEO of Elastron Group, is currently the leader of the family-owned group that manages two brands operating in the fabrics and leather upholstery segment, the original brand that has existed since 1978 (Elastron) and Magenta Fabrics.

Magenta has been growing with its focus on the medium-high segment. It presents a high added value and expands an already wide range of products from the original brand more aimed at the industry – Elastron and its sub-brand of articles with skin treatments: hydro repellent, FR, or Heavy-Use – Advanced Fabrics.

According to the company told T Jornal, Elastron has been investing and will reinforce its online presence this year, not only in promotion through specific channels for the European and Asian market but also through the new customer sales portal professionals, “which will allow us to optimize processes, speeding up communication and procedural and document management”.

On the other hand, the new textile laboratory opened last January, equipped with cutting-edge technology “to optimize resources and guarantee the highest product standards and stability between productions”. Magenta was recently present at Habitat Valencia, in the latest edition of M&O Paris, and at Interdecoração.
