Demand for performance fabrics marks XFabrics’ debut at Milano Unica

XFabrics made its debut at Milano Unica, which concluded yesterday at Rho Fiera Milano, with a clearly positive outcome. The company highlights the high level of expertise among visitors and the strong interest shown in its technical and high-value-added solutions, considering that its first participation in the trade fair achieved its objectives.

“We selected Milano Unica because of its market positioning and its ability to attract a highly qualified audience. The outcome of this edition is very positive. Although this was XFabrics’ first time exhibiting at the fair, the second day exceeded our expectations, with a very significant flow of visitors to our stand,” says Ana Araújo, Brand Manager, in comments to T Jornal.

According to the company representative, one of the aspects that most distinguished this edition was the profile of the buyers attending. “It is clear that Milano Unica stands out for the quality of its visitors, who know the market well, ask very specific questions and are looking for high-value-added solutions,” she stresses.

In terms of demand, technical and performance fabrics attracted the greatest attention from visitors, reflecting brands’ growing focus on materials capable of meeting increasingly demanding functional requirements. At the same time, the company also recorded significant interest in its wool and jacquard offerings, showing that innovation continues to coexist with the appreciation of premium raw materials and structures.

For this edition of Milano Unica, XFabrics presented an Autumn/Winter collection comprising 150 knitted fabrics, developed to showcase the breadth of the company’s capabilities. The offering included different compositions, exclusive prints, digital printing with a raised effect and functional finishes based on nanotechnology, one of the brand’s areas of expertise.

In addition to showcasing the knitted fabrics, the stand featured garments made using fabrics from the collection, allowing visitors to see how they could be applied in finished products. “By presenting the knitted fabrics as finished products, we were able to demonstrate the vertical integration of our project and provide a more concrete and inspiring view of their application possibilities,” concludes Ana Araújo.
