CRISHOME DEBUTS ‘URBAN REBIRTH’ AT HEIMTEXTIL

CrisHome will be at Heimtextil next week, from 14th to 17th January, with their new Urban Rebirth – The Textile Canvas Collection. According to Cristina Teixeira, the company’s CEO, this is a celebration of creativity, innovation and sustainability.

‘We have developed a collection based on the reuse of designs, fabrics, applications… Our focus will be mainly on plain items and on presenting a homewear line that we had left in the drawer,’ she told T Jornal.

The administrator has high expectations for this year’s edition, not only because of the large investment, but also because of the recognition we received last year. ‘The fair’s jury was very sympathetic, they favoured our stand, we also appeared in the fair’s final video and we’re due to appear in another one,’ she says proudly.

Cristina Teixeira also hopes that the downward trend in the number of visitors to the fair will be reversed. She expects mainly Nordic customers: ‘Europe is the main market for us, I’d say the Nordics appreciate our product and we expect them at the fair. The United States is an important market, but they don’t visit this fair because they have one in New York in March, and the same applies to Canada,’ she says.

2024 was a year of ups and downs for CrisHome, but it managed to maintain the levels of 2023. For 2025, we’re hoping for better results, and our strategy is to promote our plain products more widely – ‘we have a good stock service, I’d say we should be one of the companies with the most colours available, we have 40 colours available to quickly respond to customers, in different qualities,’ she concludes.
