The Modtissimo organisers have confirmed 130 collections for the next edition, to be held on September 12 and 13 in Hall 5 of Exponor in Matosinhos. New knitting compositions with nettle, banana and hemp, sustainable leather labels and accessories, functionalised fabrics made with fibres and cottons from textile waste or products with GOTS, RWS, GRS and OCS certification are some of the novelties you can expect at the exhibitors’ stands.
‘We believe in the value and in the future of Modtissimo. It’s an exceptional showcase for the best that’s made in Portugal! It’s inspiring to see companies continuing to invest in Portugal’s oldest textile show,’ says Ana Dinis, general director of ATP – Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal.
With less than two weeks to go until the event, more companies have also been announced: Albano Morgado, Calvi, Casa da Malha, Dune Bleue, Filasa, Givachoice, Heliotextil, Idepa, Iokamidis, José Pinto Cardoso, Lemar, Lenzing, Lunartex, Somelos, TMG Textiles, Trimalhas, Vimaponto and YKK Portugal. ATP and Spormex invite all professionals to visit Modtissimo and provide the registration form here. Admission is free!
