Comfysocks brings Textile-to-Textile solutions to Performance Days

Comfysocks will be present next week, on 18 and 19 March, at Performance Days, showcasing a range of products aligned with this year’s theme, “Textile to Textile.”

Among the highlighted items is a sock made from a yarn composed of 70% recycled clothing sourced in Denmark. Speaking to T Jornal, the brand explained that all recycled content used is PET-free and revealed that it is developing new T2T solutions using Comfywaste, with a planned launch by the end of this year.

“For several years, we have prioritised the use of recycled raw materials, mostly of pre-consumer origin,” the company notes, adding that it seeks to contribute as a responsible economic and social agent. Evidence of this commitment includes ongoing tests to create different yarn qualities from internally generated waste.

To achieve increasingly robust solutions, the sock producer has also been building a solid network of partners, collaborating on research in the Textile-to-Textile (T2T) field.

The main challenge, the company admits, is maintaining the performance standards expected by brands and clients. “We cannot simply increase the use of low-impact materials if it leads to a significant reduction in durability,” it emphasises.

Participation in the fair represents an important opportunity for Comfysocks to meet with suppliers and existing clients, as well as to establish contacts with new partners.
