COELIMA PRESENTS SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS IN NEW YORK

Coelima by Mabera will be at New York Market Week between March 12th and 15th at Hotel Andaz 5th Avenue. Highlights will be the spring-summer 24 collection “in three basic conceptual themes: Blue Waves, Peace Offering and Natur Force, in which the continued commitment to sustainable products stands out”, refers to T Jornal, Isa Rodrigues, director of Design, Development, and Innovation.

Based on the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, “recycled pre-and post-consumer fibers, organic fibers, natural fibers such as flax and hemp, and synthetic fibers of regenerated or recycled origin stand out”, explains Isa Rodrigues. As for dyeing, the director of Design, Development, and Innovation highlights “the capsule collection of natural dyeing with inorganic dyes that will bring innovation in the form and content of products”.

In its portfolio, Coelima also takes home the new bet on the jersey, an “area that we are starting to explore”, it reveals, to which are added “the bedding offers, complemented with coordinates for home wear and textiles of the bathroom”.

Since Market Week in New York is a closed showroom with an exclusive appointment with the customer, there is “prior preparation for the acquisition of target customers”, explains Paulo Almeida, Commercial Director. The bet is, therefore, “always oriented towards retaining the current customer base and being able to capture new targets through a diversified product offer and innovation”. But also “trying to understand the evolution of the market in the coming months and what feedback we can collect in reversing demand and adjusting supply”.

With retail in the United States experiencing a significant drop in demand in the first quarter, “this Market becomes more challenging in motivating the central objective of consolidating and increasing market share”, concludes the Commercial Director.
