Following its nomination for the ‘Readers Choice’ of Home Textile Today magazine, Coelima by Mabera won two of the four categories in which the company was nominated. Coelima won ‘Best Fashion Top-of-Bed Supplier – Luxury’ and ‘Best Bedding: Comforter /Duvet Insert Supplier’, and was the only Portuguese company in the competition.
The results were released on December 12th (here). And the company from Vila Nova de Famalicão ranked among the top three and designated “finalist” in the two other categories for which it was nominated (‘Best Fashion Top-of-Bed Supplier – Better /Best’ and ‘Best Quilt/Coverlet/Bedspread Supplier’).
This nomination resulted from the presentation of the autumn/winter 23-24 collection that Coelima held in New York in September as part of the New York Home Fashion Market Week. Home Textile Today magazine is a publication dedicated to home textiles, with online and paper editions.
The magazine has a rubric called ‘Readers Choice’, which goes through a nomination phase in which readers can nominate companies in the sector. Following the New York fair, 51 companies were nominated in various categories, and voting took place online until October 21st.
For next year, Coelima by Mabera, which continues to celebrate its centenary, will exhibit its ‘100th Anniversary Collection’ in Frankfurt between the 10th and 12th of January 2023.
