CBI WANTS TO RELAUNCH THE CARLO VISCONTI BRAND

Alongside the sustainability and digital transition processes, the relaunch of the Carlo Visconti brand is one of the priorities set by the new general manager of the CBI textile group. Paulo Júlio also bets on developing the corporate area, in order to keep the company’s growth rate.

With factories in Mangualde, Arganil and Cape Verde, the group recently embraced a new management model: with the entry of the managing director, the CEO Francisco Batista assumed the position of chairman of the company.

The challenges also include “developing the corporate segment, namely uniforms for airlines and other entities and strengthening internationalization, by investing in sustainability and digital transition”. The program aims to maintain the group’s growth rate. “It is possible for a company to grow in an adverse environment, making the right decisions in a timely manner”, says Paulo Júlio.

Currently with around 700 employees and oriented towards the production of mid/high range pants and coats, the group led by Francisco Batista has a portfolio of clients that includes Massimo Dutti, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein or Sacoor, and exports above than 95%, mainly for the European and US markets.
