Casa da Malha showcased its latest collection last week in Milan, organized into five categories: Essential, Natural, Performance, ReThink, and Engineered. According to the company, the three-day event registered moderate traffic but strong client interest.
“It was a calmer participation compared to the previous edition, in line with what we usually expect from July shows. Some knit selections were already made, and we are now shipping samples. Above all, there was a very clear interest in discovering new production partners in Portugal,” summarized Cláudia Costa.
Among the highlights were bio-based polyamide, bio-based elastane, and regenerative cotton, alongside classic basics, which remain in high demand.
In addition to its signature MU Sintesi moodboard, Casa da Malha had five fabrics selected for the Milano Unica trend forums, generating targeted visits from clients specifically looking for those showcased knits. “We received visitors who came directly in search of the fabrics they had seen at the forum. That is always very positive,” emphasized the knitting product developer.
The fair maintained its well-known standards of high-quality organization, curated visitor selection, and overall excellence. Looking ahead, Casa da Malha will continue its international agenda with Première Vision New York (starting tomorrow), Première Vision Paris in September, and for the first time, Performance Days in October.
