Burel presents a new world of knitwear

Burel has a new collection of knitwear made from 100 % Portuguese wool, incorporating the vast artisanal heritage of Serra da Estrela. The worked patterns recall the local mountain landscape and the cable knots of old jumpers.

´Attention to detail and the innovative creativity of our artisans‘ hands are the essence that we weave into each piece,’ the official website states. The collection consists of jumpers, cardigans, a dress, a hat, a waistcoat and a scarf, proudly worn by the workers of the Manteigas company.

Among the brand’s novelties is also a capsule collection of cushions and blankets. ‘Patchwork Melton’, as the name suggests, includes pieces handmade with 100 % wool melton.
