This season’s trends continue to arrive from Italy via the Milano e-Connect platform. Milano Unica referenced fabrics from three Portuguese companies: Brito Knitting, ITJV Têxteis and Troficolor Denim Makers.
Under the ‘Antiques’ theme, the organisation is presenting a Brito Knitting fabric in a shade of beige and a work print, which they compare to an antique lamp. ‘Finely decorated with gold, graceful arabesques are placed on a Brito Knitting fabric,’ it reads.
In the ‘Scary Nights’ theme, in anticipation of Halloween, ITJV Textiles has come up with an orange woollen fabric. ‘Between the carved pumpkins outside the doors, there’s a woollen fabric from ITJV Textiles to scare Jack’s spirit looking for a refuge on Halloween night’, sets the mood.
Also recently mentioned was Troficolor Denim Makers with the theme ‘Jungle Fever’. A light blue cotton fabric was the choice of the trend platform to showcase the natural splendour of water. ‘Endless spaces of natural splendour cover our planet, which demonstrates its creative energy and invites us to look at its water courses, as clear as Troficolor Denim Makers’ organic cotton,’ is added.
