BABY GI INVESTS IN NEW PRODUCTION LINE

The textile Baby Gi is investing in a new manufacturing line in order to respond to the increase in orders for its children’s fashion brand. Alfredo Moreira, the company’s administrator, is already recruiting for the new line, and promises to hire five new employees.

“This new production line will be exclusively dedicated to the Baby Gi brand, which has registered an increase in orders. Our production capacity was reaching its limits”, explains the administrator Alfredo Moreira, who in January had already expanded the company’s production capacity by installing another production line.

Devoted to baby clothing, the brand – which has also been a constant presence at professional textile fairs, such as Fimi or Supreme Kids, – has been expanding its export destinations, being currently present in markets such as England, the United States, Italy, the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico, among others.

For now, the new Baby Gi clothing line will create five new jobs. “We are currently recruiting and if the people we choose to hire are not from the region, we will give them the conditions to live here”, emphasizes Alfredo Moreira. The company is currently hiring a foreman and seamstresses to bring this new line to life.
