ALLCOST INSISTS ON THE UNITED STATES WITH A PRESENCE AT MARKET WEEK

With a remarkable market share in the United States, AllCost presented its new SS25 collection at Market Week New York this March. The objective was to gain new contacts in this market and to remind regular customers of the continuous effort to offer more sustainable products.

The home textiles, the core of the company, thus include blends of recycled cotton with eco-made fibers from PET plastics, solutions with hemp, and a blend of 100% recycled fibers, pleasant to the touch, durable, and breathable. “We felt great acceptance from fair visitors. When they see AllCost, they associate it with a premium, differentiated product”, says Ângela Cadeia, export sales director, speaking to T Jornal.

“In terms of sustainability, the American market is behind the European market, but it is already showing openness, so we have taken a lot of recycled materials and explored the potential of hemp more intensively, especially because sustainability is here to stay”, continues.

America represents around 35% of the customer base, and the ambitions for the new year are to strengthen penetration in this market. “We were recently on a business mission to Canada, together with AEP, which has already resulted in requests”, exemplifies Ângela Cadeia, proving the efforts. “This is the second mission we have carried out with AEP. The first was also to Canada, and it was through it that we expanded there, we feel that these are always well-structured initiatives”.
