ALBANO MORGADO’S ZERO MANTRA

Zero dyeing, zero dyes. This zero mantra is the soul of the Ecolife range that Albano Morgado presented at Première Vision. Based on simple and basic characteristics, the Ecolife consists of virgin wool fabrics in the natural colors of sheep, white and brown.

“The main novelty we brought to Paris was also the oldest: pure wool. Wool is a natural, biodegradable product. There is no such thing as more sustainable”, sums up the CEO, adding that the collection is almost entirely produced with natural fibers: wool and cotton, blends of wool and cotton or cotton and linen.

Given the decadence of the traditional suit and tie, the focus is on the blazer and on more casual and sportswear lines.

Albano Morgado ended 2022 with a turnover of 6.4 million euros. This year things are much calmer, so the expectation for this year is that sales will drop to six million. Still higher than the 5.3 million billed in 2019, the last year before the pandemic.
