About to complete 95 years of activity, Albano Morgado is optimistic about the business prospects for 2022. The strategy lies in the consolidation of the company’s presence in European markets, leveraged by the presentation of increasingly sustainable wools.
Albano Morgado, the company’s general director, says that “it is time to consolidate the portfolio and focus on the proximity market. This is a new reality and a new learning experience for all stakeholders”, he states, referring to the changes that came with Covid-19.
In 2021, the company experienced “an interesting recovery” and surpassed 2020, but is still below the turnover of 2019. The presence of Albano Morgado at the last MODTISSIMO, in February, was once again important for the company to find its regular customers and establish new business relationships. This year, the company will also participate in Milano Unica and Premiere Vision Paris, to present its winter collection.
