Sampaio announced its recent certification as a Level 2 Supplier to Zero, meeting the progressive level requirements of the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) program for the sustainable management of chemical products. The certification empowers and allows A. Sampaio to “take responsibility for its performance in the management of chemical products and the continuous commitment to improving the impact of its supply chain”.
Obtaining the new level allows “the opportunity to position the company focused on the future”, shared A. Sampaio on its social networks. There are three different program levels in Supplier to Zero. Level 2 allows “facilities to demonstrate continuous improvement. Includes additional content and supports the facilities’ efforts by offering deeper insights into industry best practices and ideal techniques. From Level 2 onwards, facilities must provide evidence of successful chemical management implementations and the use of ZDHC tools for continuous improvement,” according to an article on the ZDHC Supplier Platform.
