A. Fiúza & Irmão will be present at the next edition of ISPO Munich, taking place from November 30 to December 2, where it will showcase a selection of innovative premium – segment products, characterized by high technicality and performance, modern design, and a sustainability-driven approach.
Speaking to T Jornal, the company highlights its extensive experience in graduated compression socks, combined with a strengthened focus on biodegradability, through the use of new biodegradable synthetic fibers and technologically advanced functional fibers.
“The collection includes multisport models as well as more specific items for ski, yoga, pilates, and hiking, produced using a wide range of fibers such as merino wool, recycled polyamide, carbon, and fibers derived from ginger, orange, aloe vera, and mushrooms.”
A. Fiúza & Irmão also presents products developed with innovative technologies such as Q-cycle by Fulgar, Breeze by Nilit, and 37.5 Technology by Cocona Labs.
Q-cycle transforms end-of-life tires into 100% recycled and sustainable polyamide 6.6 yarns, replacing fossil-based raw materials and reducing water consumption and CO₂ emissions, while maintaining lightness, strength, and durability equivalent to traditional polyamides.
Breeze by Nilit, in turn, is a nylon 6.6 fiber with cooling properties and high breathability, designed to keep the body cool, dry, and comfortable during physical activity.
Meanwhile, 37.5 Technology uses natural minerals, such as volcanic ash and coconut shells integrated into the fibers, to regulate body temperature and maintain optimal moisture levels.
The company also highlights its 360º printing collection, which allows unlimited use of colors and designs, making it ideal for bold and highly customized projects.
Regarding expectations for the fair, A. Fiúza & Irmão remains optimistic, aiming both to attract new clients and to strengthen existing partnerships through pre-scheduled meetings.
For the company, ISPO represents a space for evolution and development, based on six key pillars:
“networking with international players, early access to trends and innovations, opportunities for exposure and reinforcement of corporate image, potential for new business opportunities, benchmarking to align internal strategies, and immersion in an international environment focused on sustainability and the future.”
ISPO Munich is recognized by the company itself as a benchmark trade fair for the sports, outdoor, functional fashion, textile innovation, and lifestyle sectors. It should be noted that this will be A. Fiúza & Irmão’s 14th consecutive participation in the event.
The company’s presence at the fair is part of the Sustainable Textile & Apparel From PORTUGAL project, promoted by ATP – the Portuguese Textile and Apparel Association, showcasing dynamism and vitality in a challenging international context.
