IMPETUS’ NEW HI-TECH PYJAMA GUARANTEES A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP

Sleep well and soundly is what promises ProtechSleep, the latest project of the Impetus Group, led by Alberto Figueiredo (in the photo). Created in partnership with Fibrenamics and Tecminho, from the Universidade do Minho, this innovative pyjama is the result of two years of research and development, and combines technologies such as thermoregulation, targeted compression, and aromatherapy, which fights sleep disorders and ensures a greater rest. The product will hit the market on the second semester of 2021.

To achieve these goals, Protechsleep encompasses in its manufacturing process some innovative technologies, such as seamless and three-dimensional textile structures, the combination of modal and elastane fibres, and essential oils aromatherapy, with active substances that promote greater relaxation and fight discomfort or pain.

Protechsleep comes in the same line as Impetus’ previous projects, such as Protechdry – an innovative underwear for light incontinence, made of 95% cotton, washable and sustainable – and Protechflow, an underwear model that uses the same principles for the menstrual cycle.

With these projects already well implemented in the market, Impetus’ goal is to stand out by “doing what no else is doing”. Now, the group – which currently employs around 800 people – will introduce Protechsleep to the market, either through its own brand or through Private Label, in the second half of 2021.
