The Portuguese company Springkode – which just over a year ago launched a marketplace directed towards the smart and sustainable fashion segment – is one of seven startups chosen to join the third edition of Farfetch’s Dream Assembly, the acceleration program of the company founded by José Neves.
The Dream Assembly has already helped develop 19 projects, and in this third edition – which once again features a partnership with Burberry – Farfetch chose, in addition to Springkode, the startups BECOCO, Brandpoint Analytics, Change of Paradigm, Inline Digital, Mirow and Personify XP.
The seven-week program includes workshops, one-on-one sessions with senior leaders from Farfetch and from the partner companies, and mentoring meetings on topics such as e-commerce, marketing, technology, fashion, logistics and operations. The initiative ends with a day-long demo presentation to potential investors in London, where several million euros of capital for business leverage will be accessible.
Sprinkode – founded by Reinaldo Moreira, Francisco Pimentel (in the photo) and Miguel Pinto – is a fashion marketplace that offers exclusive and high quality capsule collections made by some of the best textile producers in the world, using fabrics that otherwise would end up as waste.
