PENTEADORA CREATES DIGITAL PLATFORM TO GET IN TOUCH WITH CLIENTS

It is through its own digital platform that the textile company Penteadora wants to maintain proximity and constant contact with its network of international customers, which exceeds 300 brands and companies. On this platform, Penteadora can organize individual meetings, showcase the company’s collections in detail, and take orders from customers.

“We had been planning this project for a long time, so when the pandemic hit we were able to put it into practice in just three months”, says António Teixeira, Penteadora’s administrator. “We have more than 300 regular customers, 90% from Europe, but we are also using this tool to reach more distant markets”, explains the head of the company.

António Teixeira admits that in the beginning the novelty was received with reluctance, but now everybody is on board. However, he believes that this technology will never replace face-to-face fairs. “I really appreciate trade shows because we are in a work environment where interaction is real. Even with the competition, we share ideas. There is a whole environment that cannot be replicated”, he defends.
