Farfetch, the world’s leading technological platform for online luxury fashion commerce, has just launched the 5th edition of its paid internship programme, Plug-in. Suitable candidates are recent graduates in the fields of technology, data or products, with a professional experience of less than two years.
In this edition, 40 vacancies are made available for the company’s offices in Lisbon, Porto and Braga. Faced with restrictions imposed by the current pandemic, Farfetch concedes that both the recruiting and the on-boarding phase may undergo remotely. However, the company guarantees that, if conditions allow, they have planned an in-person welcome process.
Candidates can apply until the end of August, and will be integrated into the company’s international teams, which work on projects that are revolutionizing the fashion and retail industry. The actual labour should begin by early October.
In the last four editions of Plug-in, Farfetch hosted roughly 150 interns, with a retention rate that reached 90% last year. Currently, the company employs over 4.500 people across 14 offices located in several countries.
