TWINTEX WANTS TO RELY ONLY ON 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY

Committed to sustainable production, Twintex has just invested in 200 photovoltaic panels, and was given the 100% renewable energy certification. With this new investment, Twintex reinforces the company’s energy production capacity by 20%, and by the end of the year hopes to rely solely on 100% renewable electricity.

The company’s headquarters already counts with more than one thousand photovoltaic panels, which produce 55% of the energy that is used internally.

A bet on sustainability and environmental protection that is further reinforced by other measures that limit CO2 emissions, such as solar panels and the use of natural gas to heat water.

The company is also installing UV filters in all windows, in order to reduce the use of air conditioning; on thermal insulation on the roof, which stabilizes the internal temperature; on ECO equipment with reduced consumption; LED lighting throughout the factory; and  on the continuous reinforcement of industrial and domestic recycling, supporting Twintex’s position as a pioneer in sustainability.

For more than a decade investing in sustainability measures that help reduce the ecological footprint, Twintex produces luxury women’s and men’s clothing, and in 2020 celebrated its 41st birthday. With a premium portfolio of customers, the company’s exports 100% of its production for a total of 26 different countries, including the UK, France, Italy, United States of America and Canada.
