PAULO DE OLIVEIRA GROWS 7% IN THE 1st QUARTER

Although uncertainty is the signature of the current conjuncture, the sales of Paulo de Oliveira increased by 7% in the first quarter, catching the management of one the top three wool making groups in Europe by surprise, who forecasted difficult times following a phase of bulky investments and two-digit growth.

“Late last year we felt a deceleration, suggesting caution in our perspectives for 2019. We adapted to the signs shown. However, the first months of this year went by better than we thought”, acknowledges Luís Miguel Oliveira (in the photo), 54, the director responsible for production at Paulo de Oliveira, happy to have been wrong, “at least for the time being”.
