Parfois bets on fashion with corners at El Corte Inglés

Parfois is reinforcing its presence in the clothing sector, a strategic area defined by the new CEO of the company, José Maria Folache, and boosted by the creation of Parfois Corner Apparel, a concept that the Portuguese brand is proposing to El Corte Inglés.

The goal is to showcase clothing with high-visibility, in detriment to clothing and accessories. Two years ago now, when it gave autonomy to its fashion department, Parfois has been strengthening its offer in the field, raising the number of clothing items, both in physical locations and online.

Corner Apparel is, for the time being, under trial in two El Corte Inglés stores in Madrid: La Vaguada and Princesa. In both locations, the corner has a 50m2 surface and more than 200 fashion and clothing references.

If the experiment is successful, Parfois’ objective is to reapply the concept in more El Corte Inglés shops, mostly in Spain. The Portuguese group maintains a strong bet on the Spanish market, where it owns 330 locations, aiming for 360.
