MTEX-NS DEVELOPS SUSTAINABLE DIGITAL DYEING MACHINE

The Portuguese manufacturer Mtex – New Solutions has just developed, in partnership with Nextil, a sustainable digital dyeing machine, which the company classifies as revolutionary. One more step on the path to environmentally sustainable solutions, in which the company has long invested.

“Mtex-NS’s relentless pursuit of perfection and its constant commitment to surpass the limits of what it develops for itself and for its customers made a difference when it came to being chosen by Nextil to develop this project”, rejoices Elói Ferreira, CEO of Mtex-NS.

In a statement, the company explained that “Nextil’s know-how in the textile area combined with the technological knowledge of Mtex-NS allowed the creation of a digital dyeing machine with natural pigments”.

The Spanish group Nextil (Nueva Expresión Textil) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of elastic knit fabrics. This industrial group has factories in Europe and the USA that supply the world’s leading fashion companies in the areas of fast fashion, beachwear, sports and lingerie. Nextil recently bought the Portuguese company SICI93, which allowed the group to start manufacturing for luxury brands.
