KNOT RE.LOVE GIVES A SECOND LIFE TO CHILDREN’S FASHION

It is with the re.love project that Knot wants to give a second life to the brand’s garments. In September, the children’s fashion label started selling second-hand items, having the environment in mind since children grow up fast, and clothes end up having a very limited use.

The brand is asking its customers to return to the stores articles of clothing that must be good as new. Then they are washed, labeled, and put together to form a clothing collection. “We want to involve the Knot customer, but also to meet a new type of buyer, which favors alternative forms of consumption”, explains Knot’s founder, Carla Caetano.

“It ends up being a natural step in the wake of what has already been built by the brand. Knot manufactures locally with Portuguese partners, using natural materials and ensuring a superior quality of its products, so that they last for several generations”, she explains, pointing out the advantages both for those who donate and for those who buy.

“The customer who delivers the piece is given an amount (depending on the article) to spend in our stores, and the customer who buys second-hand receives 15% of the purchase price on a voucher,” explains the brand. In the first purchase of a re.love piece, the customer will also receive a reusable tote bag.
