With exports already accounting for 90% of sales, Like a Pearl has no doubt that customers are the ones responsible for the firm’s good reputation internationally. Sweden and England are the two best markets for this Portuguese clothing company dedicated to the private label regime and that manufactures women’s, men’s and children’s clothing.
“We don’t participate in international fairs. Our strategy is to work well and our customers are our biggest advertisers”, states Domingos Campos, Like a Pearl CEO.
The company, which has as clients some of the most reputable European fashion brands, chooses to participate only in MODtissimo, which for the brand’s CEO is “an excellent way to find new customers and strengthen relationships”. In the last edition of the event, the company has established contacts with French, Italian, German and English buyers.
Specializing in upper middle range fashion items for women, men and children, Like a Pearl has Sweden and England as its two best markets, responsible for about 80% of the company’s turnover.
