DFIT’S BRIGHT COLORS TO GET A HOLD OF THE SUMMER

Intense colours and sustainable fabrics are the foundation for the new collection from DFIT, the Portuguese Swimwear brand founded by Diana Pereira. Never before the summer heat had such an invigorating effect and the brand is determined to live the season to the fullest. It even has “mommy and me” models for mothers and daughters.

“The brand continues to be entirely manufactured in Portugal and the materials are all recyclable. That is essential for us”, says Diana Pereira, who created DFIT in 2018, oriented towards swimwear and fitness.

Strong blues, cherry and white are some of the brand’s colours for this summer. “White is sometimes seen as too basic, but at this moment it is back in fashion, mainly because people connect it to nature, to the land, to simplicity”, explains the designer.

In addition, the collection bets on new show-stopping materials, such as velvet: “It is an extremely comfortable fabric. People think it takes time to dry, but that is not true. And because the lining is made from the same material, the user feels the comfort of the velvet against the skin”, she explains.

The highlight also goes to the “Mini Me” models, which match mothers and daughters, something that is part of DFIT’s strategy. “I always liked to play with the concept of mother and daughter clothing. I also do the same in the fitness collections, and maybe in the future it will be extended to fathers and sons”, she adds.

The collection is now available in DFIT’s online store.
