“It was up to Marta Mota Prego, Head of the Economic Development Division of the Guimarães City Hall, to receive the Prize in Graphic Advertisement awarded to the project Guimarães Marca from the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV), the biggest multi-sector fair of the Caribbean which hosted several companies from Guimarães.
Invested in the promotion of the economic and cultural life of the city, Guimarães Marca is run by the Division of Economic Development of the city. Through this programme, Guimarães is aiming to spread the “Guimarães Marca” seal across the five continents, anchoring this goal on the region’s multiple companies.
Considered for over three decades a fertile ground for business, the Havana International Fair hosted representatives of more than 60 countries and was, once again, a privileged space for commercial networking and to explore new markets for the companies that travelled from Guimarães.
