SATINSKIN JOINS LA ESTAMPA AND SELLS AROUND THE WORLD

Satinskin, specialized in digital printing, has joined forces with the Brazilian La Estampa, a creative atelier from Rio de Janeiro that specializes in patterns and design. Together they are presenting themselves as La Estampa/Le Europe and selling new prints in Europe and South America.

“We have gathered the best of both worlds. We were stronger on the creative part, and the Portuguese were better on the industrial part”, explains the sales manager Gabriela Moreira, who moved from Rio de Janeiro to Braga, where Satinskin has its industrial headquarters.

At the centre of this joint venture, started in 2018, is a creative department with more than 20 workers, who work on designing new patterns for the company’s print catalogue every single day.

With more than 50 thousand available print – joining Satinskin’s archive with La Estampa’s – the company has introduced, during the last Première Vision, a personalized app (in the picture below) that enables customers to browse through the entire La Estampa/Le Europe catalogue.

“Right now, we sell to practically the entire world. In South America, beyond Brazil, we also have many customers in Colombia and Ecuador, and in Europe we work with big brands from all across the continent. Many of them make their most recognizable prints with us”, adds the sales manager.

All the prints are made in Portugal. Equipped with digital printing technology on knits and fabrics, the industrial unit in Braga is mostly directed towards the fashion and clothing market, but also works for home textiles.
