At a time when the echoes of the Black Lives Matter movement are still felt, Nudemask, the mask available in four skin tons, just arrived to the market. This way, the Nudemask aims to not only protect you from Covid-19 but also fight another form of virus: racial discrimination.
And because inclusion is not only racial, for each mask sold the brand will donate €1 to the Portuguese Caritas Association, so that protection may reach everyone with no exceptions. “Nudemask is the first inclusive mask because protecting is not only about safeguarding our health, but also to raise your voice and act against racial and social injustices. Because the nude tone is not just one colour, we present adult and children’s masks in four skin tones. However, the goal is to broaden the colour range up to eight skin tones”, states the brand in a press release.
100% made in Portugal, the Nudemasks, whose raw materials have already been certified by CITEVE and withstand 20 washing cycles, are in the process of certification for level 3 social use.
They include a storing and washing pouch, which retain all the particles filtered by the mask and also protects it during the washing, extending its useful life.
Currently, the masks are on pre-sale on the brand’s website for €6.90.
