MEIA PATA REACHES THE USA, MEXICO AND NORWAY

Even in an atypical year, Meia Pata has managed to broaden horizons and conquer new markets. After Russia, in January, the Portuguese children’s fashion brand has now reached North America and Norway.

The new Norwegian agent contacted the brand for the first time at FIMI, the Spanish children’s fashion fair, whose last edition took place in January, in Valencia, and now, with the agreement signed, will represent the brand, starting with the Spring/Summer 21 collection.

“In spite of everything, 2020 is giving us some very important opportunities”, highlights Carla Areal, CEO of the brand, who in early summer already had managed to establish partnerships with a new distributor for the United States and other for Mexico, the “big goals” that Meia Pata established for 2020.

After the first orders were sent to the Mexican partner – a company specializing in children’s fashion that will distribute the brand’s products from the city of Guadalajara throughout the country – and to the North American distributor, which from New York will sell Meia Pata’s products for all the United States, the brand now joins Norway to its market map.

Already present in Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates and Colombia, among others, Meia Pata specializes in children’s socks, but has also extended its offer to swimwear.
