Even with the pandemic, the creativity of the young Portuguese designers keeps on going and the New Creators PFN – Portuguese Fashion News contest was here to prove it: Sabrina Lopes, from Escola de Moda do Porto and using LMA fabrics, won in the Category I, while Darya Fesenko, from Modatex, won in Category II, with materials from Albano Morgado.
In addition to a monetary prize, the two designers are now in the Portugal Fashion Bloom platform, while the remaining winners (list below) were also awarded monetary awards between 100 and 200 euros.
In an edition that took place outdoors, in the gardens of the Sheraton Hotel, in Porto, all the decisions were placed in the hands of a jury made up by Paulo Cravo, from the Bloom platform; Teresa Marques, from Tricothius; Ana Cravo, from Minty Square, designer Anabela Baldaque, and Mónica Andrade, representative of Sophia Kah’s brand.
