FATIMA LOPES’ JAPANESE WINTER ARRIVES IN PARIS

It was in the Hoche Salon, in Paris, that the stylist Fátima Lopes presented her 43rd consecutive collection at the Paris Fashion Week. The Japanese culture and aesthetics were her source of inspiration for the Autumn/Winter2020/21, a very feminine collection, sophisticated and elegant, made from several lines, from casual jeans to haute-couture.

Red, black, beige, blues, checkers and graphic designs form the colour palette, which provides colour to jackets and structured cashmere wool or alpaca cloaks, and pleated skirts designed geometrically.

The denim collection is the great novelty and is represented by trousers, skirts, jumpsuits and shorts with unique and original shapes, with special highlight to the trousers and kimono tops made from new materials.

Meanwhile, dresses are the king of the season: may they be casual line – very comfortable thanks to draped and jacquard knits -, or the ceremonial one, which boasts sensuality and sophistication, with satin silks and pleated muslins, lace and graphic sequins, transparent items and draped kimonos.
