“From Famalicão to the world”, this is how the Portuguese company CM Socks debuted a new online store for the Canadian market. The new platform will market Prevent Sprain, the anti-sprain socks that are already patented in 143 countries, and gained space in several high-competition sports.
Focused on growing in North America, the company had already established a distribution and marketing unit in Canada at the end of last year, to which now joins the online trading platform.
“Delivery times are very important in our business area and with this unit – which has a considerable stock available – we are able to fulfil orders in the North America in a short time, which for us is a huge added value”, explained to T Carlos Maia, owner of the company.
With an innovative structure, PreventSprain are protective socks that besides preventing sprains, reduce muscle fatigue, and provide stability and comfort to the foot. Oriented to the sports practice, they have gained supporters in various sports, from football to tennis, rugby or handball.
CM Socks produces about 26 million pairs of socks per year, with 98% of its turnover coming from foreign markets.
