The innovative Electrosocks, the socks endowed with electro-stimulation, were Barcelcom’s main credentials at Medica Trade Fair, in Dusseldorf, the leading world fair of the sector where the company’s Medical Pro line was launched.
“These socks are knitted in microfibres, which apply graduated compression and enable the recovery of venous conditions”, explains Nuno Mota Soares, project manager of the company based in Barcelos.
As it is increasingly evident that textiles will play a key role in the future of health providing services, Portuguese companies are putting forth their technical potential and innovative capabilities, such as Barcelcom, which is debuting its line of therapeutic socks entitled Medical Pro.
